Being Cherished

We all deserve to be cherished, loved and appreciated for the unique beautiful beings we are — and that includes all parts of ourselves our hearts, our gifts, our presence, desires, the way we show up,  our bodies (even in imperfection), our quirks and much more.

What is the single most important thing that feeds your sense of being loved?

For me it is being with my partner, Sabu, in quiet moments of full presence where I know I’m being seen and held in love. He is a great listener and once early in our relationship he was listening so fully to me and I felt so seen that I burst into tears.  (In a good way!). I didn’t even realize until that moment how much I was craving being seen and loved in this way.

I’ve been getting messages from a variety of you who have taken my quiz about love.  And the thing I’m finding that most women value from taking it -  is that it can help them see what is important to them in love and if they are getting or not getting those expressions of love.

While that can feel like a mixed bag to see the results sometimes, it is powerful for a couple reasons.

  • Identify where your strengths in love are

  • Offer you specific ways of loving to help you evaluate what you value most

  • Show you areas you may want to talk to your partner about

  • Show you areas to create more love in your life

This helps you eliminate a lack of clarity about your needs.  How can you possibly ask for what you want when we can’t articulate for ourselves what we need?

So if you are up for learning more about your ways of loving across the dimensions I share in my book:
Ways of Acting
Ways of Being
Ways of Thinking
Ways of Speaking
Ways of Touching

Jump right in and learn more about yourself.  Ways of Loving Quiz

I’m here on the other side to help you tease out what you can do with the results and celebrate your successes in being a loving being.
